**Remember, if your child is going to participate in viewing the solar eclipse, you must send in the permission form by this Friday, August 18th. Permission forms will not be accepted on Monday.

Hello Parents,

Your child’s classroom teacher may implement a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative sometime during the school year. Participation in the BYOD is completely voluntary. Students who bring their own devices will be guided by their teacher in its use within the classroom. BYOD programs enhance the learning process by providing additional resources to participating students. These initiatives also encourage and support responsible use of electronic devices in our ever-expanding digital age. If you have any questions about the BYOD program, you are invited to a meet with our Library Media Specialist on August 23^rd from 8:00 to 9:00 AM in the Professional Learning room located in the Front Office area. Ms. Crosby will be glad to tell you more about how classrooms utilize devices brought from home and answer any other questions.
