ELA:  Students will work on writing an informational book about a specific topic within the American Revolution.  We are also working on complex and compound sentences.  (No spelling words this week.)

Read Across America Day

Read Across America Day is coming up on March 2nd and we are going to celebrate by having a parade of book characters.  Students may dress up as their favorite book character, but please no masks.   Keep it simple.  No pressure – just have fun and celebrate reading.

We will be having a Valentine's exchange on Wednesday.  If you would like to bring in valentines, please make sure to bring one for each student. We have 24 students in our class. Also, our class is a "nut-free" zone, so please don't send in treats that contain nuts.  Thanks!!

**We started the ABC's of the American Revolution project today. Students will have time to work on this in class, but this is also require them to work on it at home.  This project will be due on Friday, March 2nd. **
