Learning Targets for the Week:

• Math- Solving problems involving length in metric units
• Reading- Authors use similes, metaphors and personification in a variety of text including poetry to help reveal their message. (test Friday)
• Writing- Using information from multiple sources to respond to a prompt
• Social Studies- A New Nation- Open book test on Ch.9 is on Wednesday. .

Wednesday March 21st- Report cards go home.

Homework for Monday, March 19th:

Reading: Study Poetry vocabulary. Test on Friday. Students have glued vocabulary words in their Reading Journal.

Math: Finish practice sheet on converting measurements of length.  Students have a copy of a conversion anchor chart in their Math journal.  (This practice sheet was started in class.)

ELA: Study Spelling Words. Test on Thursday.

Social Studies: Study Ch. 9 notes in journal. Test on Wednesday.
